Description of Apartment in Lorraine:
Apartment for vacation in the Vosges Mountains (skying, hiking, swimming),sleep 6, low maintenance, friendly neighborhood, historic town nearby.
I am selling a 3 rooms apartment on the 2nd floor of an ancient supervisors’ house in a 19th century apartments complex built by a mill factory for its workers.

The apartment is under the roofs with views to gardens and the village. You have to climb a wooden staircase with iron work guardrails to get there. The neighborhood is mainly Portuguese, very quiet and friendly.

The High Speed train (TGV) station is at 5mn, a pond with swimming allowed at 10 mn, ski slopes at 45mn, and trails at 15 mn.

It can accommodate 3 couples and is situated next to Remiremont, an historic town with trendy shops and restaurants. It needs some minor works in the kitchen and the bathroom, even though everything is in functioning order as it is. Paint and floors are new. Roof too.

There is a basement where you can store skis and bikes, and an outdoor private parking place.

It is an excellent investment to spend your vacation in the Vosges Mountains or to rent it to vacationers.
Remiremont - Surrounding area:
St Etienne les Remiremeno is a small village next to Remiremont, a 15000 inhabitants town, known for its historic center, shops, and restaurants. The village is an old mill factory center and military post, with many remnants of that past. It is nestled at the foot of hills where numerous hiking trails await. Les Vosges are small mountains in the east of France, popular with tourists from France and northern Europe as it offers great skying and hiking opportunities. Alsace, with its scenic landscape, villages, and wineries is a 90 minutes ride through the mountains. Nancy, the nearest city, is a 60 minutes ride by train or car, Paris is a 3 hours by TGV.
Other information:
I am living abroad, and do not come to France that much anymore, so the sale is handled by a local real estate agent (see website below)
