Situated in a small friendly village of Darcey (about 300 people) in the Cote d’or Department (21). The village is about 20 minutes from the TGV link at Montbard and only about 8 kms from the historic site of Alesia (http://www.alesia.com/museoparc_fr_03.html )( http://www.france-voyage.com/ ) (both have English options) which is having a new museum and visitor center built at the present time and according to the website will attract up to 100 000 people per year. It is also close to the old village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain where the film Chocolat was filmed and proves very popular with tourists. There are also numerous Chateaus in the near vicinity.|
