The house is set in a tranquil and rural setting with trees and land giving privacy all round.
This fantastic L shaped property offers great living space with the added bonus of an excellent two bedroomed gite.
At the front there is parking space and then come through the stone built archway into a grassed area with paths to the house, gite and games barn. In the front garden is a raised fish pond with Koi and goldfish.

The dining room is accessed from the kitchen and dates back to 1796, this was originally a animal shelter with a bread oven that was used by the commune. We have renovated this space and incorporated it into the house. It has a pitched roof with original oak beams, the feeding trough has been filled in and made into seating, there are two velux windows in the roof, these, along with the large window/door gives a bright spacious room. We have installed a log burner in the corner of the room which makes it cosy for family meals or parties.
The stairs lead to 3 good sized bedrooms, 1 a large double, 1 double and 1 twin room, all have windows, central heating radiators and pitched roofs with exposed A frames.
The large landing with a window to the front is an ideal place to sit and read if you want some quiet time. The hatch to the loft is on the landing.
The toilet and washroom are separate at the moment but could be accessed from the large bedroom to make an ensuite,
Corlay - Surrounding area:
The nearest town to the property is Corlay. Here you can find all the amenities IE 2 supermarkets, 2 Banks, Post office, Restaurant, 2 Bars, 2 Church's, DIY stores and a School.
There is also a small museum and a fishing lake.
Just a 15 min drive is Lac du Gurledan,this is the largest lake in Brittany. If you like watersport or you have your own boat or jet ski this is the place for you. Around the lake are lots of VTT tracks and mountain biking tracks. There is also a man made beach where you can swim in the lake. If this is all to much for you you can relax lake side at one of the many Bar/ restaurants.
The fantastic coast of Brittany starts just a 30 min drive away so you can explore the rose granite coast and still come home.
